TREZOR WALLET HAS ANNOUNCED THE BEGINNING OF NATIVE SUPPORT FOR ETH, ETC AND ERC20 TOKENS

Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor today announced the addition of native support for Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and ERC20 tokens in the beta version of Trezor Wallet.

These cryptocurrencies for a long time supported best wallet, however, previously to operate them, users had to resort to using third-party software, such as MyEtherWallet, MyCrypto and MetaMask. Trezor notes that these extensions are also available to owners of its devices and will not be disabled for the foreseeable future.

To access the new functionality, users need to select Ethereum or Ethereum Classic in the assets tab located in the upper left corner of the interface and click on “Go to Trezor Ethereum Wallet”. After that, they should see a window with the account balance and the equivalent in the selected Fiat currency. Also in this window there is an opportunity to add tokens at the discretion of the user.

The functions of receiving and transferring assets work in the same way as for other cryptocurrencies supported in the Trezor Wallet interface. If desired, the user can access advanced settings to set the limit and the cost of gas, as well as add additional data to your transaction.

In November, Trezor issued a notification about the release of full copies of its devices to the market.
