SIMON MORRIS: TRON WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE VOLUME OF TRANSACTIONS FOR BITTORRENT TOKENIZATION

Former leading strategist at BitTorrent Simon Morris is confident that Tron will not be able to cope with the volume of transactions required to tokenize the popular Torrent client. He said this in a conversation with the portal BreakerMag.

Morris noted that while working on BitTorrent, he and his team discovered that the integration of the token and automated auctions in order to create priority file distribution queues can lead to an increase in the speed of the network up to 40%. However, he stated that the Tron blockchain is not capable of handling the amount of transactions required to implement this plan.

Morris left BitTorrent in July of last year, presumably because he was unable to work and build a trusting relationship with Tron’s management. According to BreakerMag, when Morris asked Sun about the copied white paper and the project code, the latter replied, “we decided that nothing happened and moved on.”
