Pundi X Represents The World’s First Phone Based On The Blockchain

After creating the world’s first point of sale for blockchain-based devices (XPOS system), the Singapore Pundi x blockchain project has already demonstrated the first phone call made on the blockchain at the ongoing x blockchain summit in Bali.

The phone call was made on the newest device known as XPhone, using the new OS-based x blockchain feature and the communication Protocol for mobile devices developed by Pundi X.

Xphone demo units were presented to journalists and participants at the summit. Call and messaging based on Blockchain can be turned on and off in the phone’s operating system, which is based on Android 9.0.

The device allows users to make calls, send messages and transmit data through a fully decentralized blockchain ecosystem, with users having exclusive control over the data they share.

Users can route phone calls and messages through blockchain nodes without the need for phone numbers or a centralized mobile operator.

Pundi X is one of the few crypto and blockchain projects that focuses on creating real-world examples of the use of digital assets.
