MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND STORES WILL BE ABLE TO ACCEPT PAYMENT IN LITECOIN VIA LIGHTNING

One of the largest processing companies CoinGate launches the option of payment in litecoin in the Lightning network: payment in LTC will be available in more than 1,000 connected stores.

Lithuanian processing company CoinGate announced the addition of Lightning Network support in September, after which all sellers, connected to the service, were able to accept payments in BTC.

Founded in 2014, the company managed to acquire a network of more than 4,000 outlets around the world that accept BTC for payment: among the members of the Lightning Network there are manufacturers of Swiss Chronoswiss and Louis Chevrolet watches, online bookmakers, a game store Mmoga.com, Italian winter clothing store, hosting provider Bitlaunch, Lithuanian music festival and many others.

The Lightning Network, was launched as a second layer solution to make bitcoin transactions faster and cheaper.
