HUOBI RETURNS TO JAPAN

Cryptocurrency exchange Huobi has resumed servicing of the Japanese market with the launch of a new trading platform this Wednesday. Local licensed exchange BitTrade purchased by the company in 2018, was converted into Huobi Japan.

Currently, the exchange supports trading with six cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and MonaCoin. Trading on the platform is conducted in pairs with Bitcoin and Japanese yen.

In mid-2018, Huobi left Japan, subjected to persecution by the local regulator, because at that time it did not have the appropriate license. In December, the company announced that BitTrade will cease to function and will soon be restarted under the Huobi brand. Former clients of BitTrade have to re-open their account and pass the verification.
