Bitfinex Is Now The Second Largest Holder Of The Token Tether (USDT)

Bitfinex is now the second-largest Tether token holder (USDT) in its hot wallet, surpassing only the main Binance wallet. On October 8, several exchanges such as Binance, Huobi and Kraken saw an influx of USDT. Bitfinex was among these exchanges and now has over USDT 259 million.

What is more disturbing is that while the Bitfinex exchange is amassing the USDT, bitcoin outflows (BTC) from its cold wallet are noticeable, with thousands of BTC leaking out in recent days. In a recent blog, Bitfinex has denied rumors of insolvency, but still, wallet withdrawals were significant last month.

In addition, Tether Treasury withdrew $ 100 million from Bitfinex on Tuesday, October 9. With the last step, the Tether Treasury now has over $ 286 million.

But another alarming indicator remained in the past day-the influx of USDT in Kraken. Kraken is among the exchanges receiving the USDT. On the last day, once again the sale has put pressure on the USDT to a value of $ 0.95.
