A. FAVRE & FILS WILL RELEASE A SWISS WATCH WITH A BUILT-IN CRYPTO WALLET

The Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches A. FAVRE & FILS will release a hand-made mechanical watch with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet.

The company announced last week that the watch will be equipped with a cold cryptocurrency wallet based on blockchain technology.

Laurent Favre, the founder of A. FAVRE & FILS,  commented on the development of the new watch:

“We developed this watch model with the intention of offering something useful to the crypto community.”

The representative of the company said that the watch will cost in the range of $102 000 to $153 000, depending on the material of execution – gold, metal, etc.

The watch will “guarantee maximum security and privacy,” the company said in a press release, adding that the first prototype of the watch will be released in the second quarter of 2019.

Recall that at the end of November last year, the Canadian jewelry house Birks began to accept bitcoins.

Previously, one of the world’s largest and most famous auctions of luxury cars Bonhams, announced the start of accepting cryptocurrency payments.
