Consensys Blockchain Software Technology Company Organizes Blockchain Training ​​& Hackathon In Lebanon

New York blockchain company ConsenSys, a blockchain software technology company founded by Joseph Lubin based in Brooklyn, New York, declared that it will organize a five-day blockchain event in Lebanon. The project is considered to be launched on October 17. The event will involve a three-day blockchain training program and a two-day hackathon.

The attendees will have an possibility to acquaint themselves with the basic concepts of blockchain and the distributed ledger technology (DLT) and to learn its applications and features. The training will also be in-depth so that participants can learn how to create a development environment, decentralized applications (dApps) based on Ethereum smart contracts and integrate them with web applications.

At the event, 25% of seats will be reserved for refugees. ConsenSys works with Techfugees and other non-profit organizations in this regard. Moreover, students will pay $ 250, and professionals will spend $ 450 to participate in the training.

ConsenSys aims to expand its business beyond its North American and European offices. Last month, the company said that it would reach Israel through a new subsidiary called ConsenSys Israel.
