Belarus Republic Wants To Legalize Bitcoin
It is expecting from Belarus president Lukashenko to sign a pocket of law documents for adopting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. After legalization, digital currencies will become the part of Belarus economic system.
The CEO of the local branch of Raiffeisen Bank International in Belarus Sergey Lazuk said:
“We expect the system of converting cryptocurrencies into cash money will start working in our country .”
Belarus has fully studied digital currencies up to the latest developments. Many state officials are worried about launching Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, because they are still unregulated. However, the government has an intention to open state exchange points of cryptocurrencies.
“It is very important for us to legalize cryptocurrencies,” told Igor Mamonenko, the general director of the BelHard Service Company.
